God Has Much More
… And the man of God answered, “The LORD has much more to give you than this.” 2 Chronicles 25:9
A door opened in April 2015 for me to minister the Word of God at a small church. It was the first time I had shared a biblical message with a congregation. I was excited and knew that another opportunity would present itself, but I had no idea how quickly the door would open.
Two weeks later, I heard, “call Veronica and offer to speak at the Sunday service”. Being obedient and not wanting to be presumptuous about ministering the Word of God on that upcoming Sunday, I sent her a text that read, “Let me know if you would like me to minister some Sunday, so you can rest in the Lord.”
About 10 minutes later, I received a phone call from Pastor Veronica and she joyfully said, “yes, yes, yes.” When I answered the phone. I had forgotten about the text that was sent, so I had no idea why she was saying yes, until she told me that my offering to share the Word of God on Sunday was a blessing to her and her husband Joe. That act of obedience on both of our parts has opened a door leading to ministering the Word of God subsequent Sundays.
Behind the instruction was an open door, which led to another door. In this case, ministering God’s Word for a third time at the church. This is training for the destiny that I walk towards. I don’t know what the next door is, what it will look like or when it will happen; but when it opens, I will walk through it.
As I shared the first message God gave me titled, “God has much more” that Sunday in April, I had no idea how much more He had for me in ministering His Word.
